Can I Enhance an Existing AI Model with My Own Training Data?

You can enhance your own AI models, but not DeepVA's pre-built models.

Can I add my own data to an existing AI model?

Yes, if you have created an individual AI model, you can enhance it by adding new classes and images to the dataset. To do this, simply start the training process and choose the "Update Existing Model" option. You can also add a version number or description under the "Change Log" to track your updates.

There are two ways to start training on a existing AI model:

  • If you are in the "Dataset" view: Select the dataset you want to train, click "Train", select "Update Existing Model" and provide the necessary information and start the training.
  • If you are in the "AI Models" view: Click on "Start Training", select "Update Existing Model",
enter the necessary information and select a dataset to be used as training samples for this model.

Versioning of AI models:
Versioning of AI Models is done automatically in the "AI Models" view on each AI Model card. The version and history of each model can be found in the top right-hand corner in a grey box with the version number.
This way you don't need to use the model description field for versioning.

Can I add my own data to a prebuild model?

However, you cannot add training data to DeepVA’s pre-built AI models.
These prebuild models can be identified in the "AI Models" view by the Label "Made by DeepVA".

Combining Models:
It will be possible in the future to combine multiple AI models during analysis of the same module, allowing you to include both DeepVA's models and your own.
