How do I activate or deactivate a live editor?

Easily Enable or Disable the Live Editor in Your Workflow

Steps to Activate or Deactivate the Live Editor:

  1. Open Your Workflow:

    • After creating a live stream workflow, go to "Workflows" in your Deep Live Hub account.
    • Select the workflow where you want to add or remove the Live Editor by clicking on the workflow name or the editing symbol.

  2. Navigate to the Process Tab:

    • Head to the Process tab on the workflow editing page.

  3. Enable or Disable the Live Editor:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the middle column and swipe the slider for "Enable Live Editor":
      • To activate the Live Editor, swipe the slider to the right.
      • To deactivate it, swipe the slider to the left.
    • Click the red "Save" button to apply your changes.

  4. Start or Restart Your Stream:

    • After saving your Live Editor settings, start or restart your stream for the changes to take effect.

What Is the Live Editor?

The Live Editor allows a human operator to review and make final corrections to transcripts and captions before they are broadcast or streamed. This human-in-the-loop approach minimises the potential for errors.

Restarting the Stream

After enabling or disabling the Live Editor, remember to restart your stream to ensure the changes are applied and the Live Editor is activated or deactivated.
