What is the Storage?
The storage serves as a secure and centralized location for your media and training data.
The storage in DeepVA acts as the system where all image and video files are saved and managed.
It functions as a database that stores:
- The uploaded media for analysis.
- Image data from the Datasets you created.
In short, the storage serves as a secure and centralized location for managing and processing visual data within DeepVA.
Note:
Storage is not Media Asset Management, it only provides basic functionality for conducting training or providing files for analysis. If you require more media management functionality, we recommend you contact one of our partners who offer intelligent Media Asset Management (MAM) / Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
Why Use the Storage?
There are several reasons why using the storage can be beneficial:
- Avoid Public URLs: If you don't want to use public URLs for analysis, the storage offers a private space for your files.
- Local File Upload: If your images or videos are saved on your own hard drive, you can easily upload them to the storage and analyze them.
- Improved Speed: Since all files are stored in one system, analysis speed is increased because files don’t need to be fetched from external locations.
- Face Dataset Creation: All image data generated from the Face Dataset Creation process is automatically saved in the storage.
How to Upload Multiple Files?
You can upload multiple files to the storage at once by following these steps:
- Go to Select Files
- Hold the Shift key or use the Ctrl key to select multiple files at once.
Important - Data Deletion Warning:
Be careful when deleting files. If you delete images or training data from the storage, it will also be removed from the associated datasets. This can cause problems when creating or using your own AI models.
Always ensure you have local backups of your important files or datasets to avoid accidental loss of crucial data.
