How do I create a stream to Deep Live Hub?
Set up a stream to the Deep Live Hub with OBS or other providers.
There are several ways to send a stream to Deep Live Hub, depending on the equipment and software you have available. At minimum, you’ll need an internet connection and a device capable of encoding and streaming a video or audio signal. This device can be a desktop computer, laptop, or dedicated streaming equipment.
One of the easiest ways to get started is by using the OBS player, a free and widely-used streaming application available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Here’s how you can set up a stream using OBS:
- Download and Install OBS: Visit the OBS website and download the software for your operating system. Follow the installation instructions.
- Configure OBS Settings: Open OBS and go to Settings. Under the Stream tab, choose the streaming service type as Custom and input the RTMP URL and Stream Key provided by Deep Live Hub in the Overview section of your workflow.
- Set Up Your Source: In OBS, add a source for your stream. This could be your webcam, an external camera, or an audio source. OBS allows you to customize your video and audio inputs.
- Start Streaming: Once your settings are configured, click Start Streaming in OBS, and your signal will be sent to Deep Live Hub.
If you’re using other devices like hardware encoders or different streaming software, the process is similar: input the RTMP or WebRTC URL and stream key from Deep Live Hub, and begin broadcasting. Make sure to consult the documentation of your specific device or software for detailed instructions.
This is just an example of how you can quickly set up your own stream to test our service. The configuration and correct setup of a stream is the responsibility of the respective service provider or software solution; our work only begins with the signal we receive.
