How Can I Display Live Transcripts, Subtitles, and Translations?

Explore Multiple Options for Displaying Subtitles, Translations, and Transcripts with Deep Live Hub.

Displaying transcripts, subtitles, and translations generated by Deep Live Hub can be done in several ways. Here’s how you can display them effectively, beginning with classic subtitling for livestreams:

Subtitles and Translations for Streaming:

To display subtitles and translations you can choose any "608-over708" compatible players, such as:

  • Youtube
  • Twitch
  • Facebook
  • Vimeo
  • VLC-player

Some of these are already preconfigured and can be selected when setting up a new workflow.

Note: Video players on iOS, Android, and Safari are not always compatible with RTMP streams.

Transcripts and Translations in a browser-based Viewer:

One of the easiest ways to display real-time HLS transcript streams and translations is by using the built-in Live Viewer. Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Go to your live stream workflow settings page and open the Outputs tab.
  2. Click on "Create new config" and select "Website Output Configuration," then click Save.
  3. Navigate to the Overview Tab and locate the aiconix Live Viewer URL and PIN in the output menu.
  4. To display the live viewer in your browser:
    • Paste the Live Viewer URL into your browser’s URL field and press Enter.
    • Enter the Live Viewer PIN (four characters) when prompted. Press Enter.

Note: Make sure the stream is active for the Live Viewer to function.
