What is the Content Moderation Module?

Performs automated content classification and moderation by segmenting videos into individual shots and analyzing for sensitive or age-restricted material using Content Descriptors.

Module Description

The Content Moderation module allows you to automatically detect and classify potentially sensitive visual content such as violence, nudity, and substance use. The system uses AI-powered video analysis combined with shot-based segmentation to assign accurate labels according to the ESRB Content Descriptor system.

By analyzing each individual shot, the module delivers fine-grained tagging that supports automated age rating, compliance workflows, and editorial review processes. It is ideal for content platforms, broadcasters, and media archives handling large volumes of visual material.

Note:
If you require additional or custom content categories (e.g. PEGI, MPAA, or broadcaster-specific rules), please contact our support team.

Visual Language Comprehension:
Is the ability to interpret and understand information conveyed through visual elements like symbols, images, colors, and layouts. It involves recognizing patterns, decoding cultural or contextual meanings, and connecting visuals with emotions or concepts. Any Audial information is not taken into account.

How does it work?

  1. Select the Media File: Choose the media file you want to analyze.
  2. Activate the Content Moderation Module:
In the left column, select the "Content Moderation" module and click the yellow "Add Module" button.

  3. Start the Analysis: You can either add more modules or begin the analysis immediately by clicking "Start Analysis"

What Parameters are available?

  • Temperature (0.0–1.0):
The temperature controls how creative or deterministic the model’s responses are.
    • Low temperature (e.g., 0.1–0.3):
Produces precise, consistent classifications based on the most likely content types – ideal for strict compliance workflows.

    • High temperature (e.g., 0.7–1.0):
Allows more interpretative flexibility, which can be useful for exploratory tagging or broader sensitivity detection.
